MONTICELLO – Pauline Marie Ziegler (Granny Boo), 94, of Monticello passed away at 8:30 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 12, 2013) at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello.
Pauline was previously married to Ay Eastham. Together they had five children, Bob, Shirley, Dick, Nancy and Norma.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home, Monticello, with Rev. Dalene Kibler officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Monticello Township Cemetery in Monticello.
Pauline was born Sept. 4, 1918, in Tuscola, the daughter of Charles and Dora (Ziemer) Koss. She married Forrest Ziegler on Dec. 21, 1968, in Monticello. Forrest preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1985.
She is survived by her son, Robert Eastham of Benton, Ky.; two daughters, Nancy Branch of White Heath and Norma Williamson of Monticello; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Chris Koss of Monticello.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter (Shirley Hallihan), one son (Richard Eastham), one granddaughter, three brothers and two sisters.
Pauline was a housewife and a homemaker who was an avid reader who loved to crochet. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church.
