Karen was born June 23, 1951, in Danville. She was the daughter of James C. and Thelma J. Morlan Vibbert. She married Billy F. Bennett on Aug. 23, 1974 in Danville. He survives.
Also surviving is her daughter, Michelle "Missy" (Justin) Morfey of Mahomet; two grandchildren, Ashlie (Brad) Marcy of Bloomington and Dakota Morfey of Mahomet, and one very special great-granddaughter, Kennedy Grace Michele Marcy of Bloomington. She is also survived by a sister, Kay (the late Chuck) Waltzer of Champaign.
Karen was the sales floor receptionist at Sullivan-Parkhill Auto Dealership for the last 14 years. She enjoyed her job greatly. She was known to her family as being fun-loving, bubbly and ornery. She was a born-again believer in Christ and she is now in her heavenly home.
She enjoyed shopping, decorating her home and absolutely loved driving her little red Miata. Most of all, her family was her life, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
