MONTICELLO – Leva M. Wileaver, 96, of Monticello passed away Saturday (Jan. 26, 2013) at the Piatt County Nursing Home in Monticello. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 30 at the Monticello Township Cemetery with the Rev Mike Whitaker officiating.
Leva was born Sept. 12, 1916, in Nancy, Ky., the daughter of Carl and Zula (Norfleet) Richardson. She married Dale Wileaver on Dec. 25, 1937, in White Heath.
Surviving is her daughter, Charlotte (Gene) Wrench of Monticello and her son, Mike (Marilyn) Wileaver of Monticello; grandchildren, Kimberly Wileaver, Tracy Wileaver, Diana (Todd) Kutz, Janet (Nat) Rassi, David (Lori) Cody and Paul (Jan) Cody and six great-grandchildren; brother, Urmel Richardson of Monticello; and sisters, Helen Smith of Monticello, Barbara Ellis of Monticello and Irene Royce of Monticello.
Leva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
Leva retired from Zayers department store. She was a member of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and was a member of the Monticello United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home. Condolences made be made to the family at www.mackey-wrightfuneralhome.com.
