MARIETTA, Ga. – Mrs. Mary Chandler Crisp, 84, of Marietta, Ga., passed away Jan. 24, 2013.
She was born to the late John and Anna May Chandler on Aug. 19, 1928, in Allerton, IL.
A farm girl, she graduated from Newman High School in 1946. After her graduation, she married Samuel Crisp of Hume. During their marriage, they lived in Illinois and Texas before settling in Washington, D.C., for 20 years; after her husband's death, she lived in Illinois, Florida and Georgia. Mary loved music and was a supporter of the performing arts. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mary is survived by her son and his wife, John and Sharon Crisp; and grandchildren, Lauren and Samuel D. Crisp. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
