DANVILLE – Gretchen M. Supp, 91, of Danville died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 26, 2013) at North Logan Health Care, Danville.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. CST Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, Ind.

Gretchen was born Nov. 28, 1921, in Covington, Ind., the daughter of James A. and Marvia (Layton) Romine. She married Michael M. Supp on April 3, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo. He died Dec. 26, 2004.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammie (Ed) Klaman of Marion, Iowa, and her son, Michael R. (Patricia) Supp of Urbana. Also surviving are six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She had many loving special nieces and nephews.

Gretchen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers.

She was a loving mother and homemaker. She enjoyed watching Illinois basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals.
