CHRISMAN – Linda Ruth (Lang) Willming, 69, of Chrisman, formerly of Mahomet, was called home on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village in Chrisman.
Linda was born March 24, 1943, in Danville, to Berlyn O. and Ruth M. (Beckman) Lang. She married Richard L. Willming on Jan. 22, 1961, in Danville.
She was a member of the Olivet Nazarene Church, a Bunco Club and the Writer's Guild. She enjoyed writing, gardening, playing the piano, loved her dogs and cats, was well-known for decorating for every season and holiday and dearly loved all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard Willming of Mahomet; a son, Jamey (Darla) Willming of Chrisman; two daughters, Lynnette (Rich) Ervin of Danville and Kamala (James) Wynne of Covington, Ind.; one sister, Jacqueline (Chuck) Robertson of Georgetown; seven grandchildren, Kayla Willming (Kevin Brothers) of Houston, Texas, David Willming of Chrisman, Chelsea Pruitt (Josh Weeks) of Phoenix, Ariz., Kelbi Ervin of Danville, Marissa (Bobby) Rennaker of Daphne, Ala., Maissie (Nathen) Jenkins of Biloxi, Miss., and Dorian Wynne of Greenwood, Ind.; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the Chrisman Christian Church. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 5 p.m. at the church. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
