CLIFFWOOD BEACH, N.J. – Michael J. Stuckey, 69, of Cliffwood Beach passed away on Sunday (Feb. 24, 2013) at home.
Born and raised in Paxton, he was a resident of Morganville, N.J., before moving to Cliffwood Beach seven years ago.
Mike was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army in the early 1960s. After his service, he worked at International Flavors & Fragrances in Union Beach for many years.
An avid hunter and fisher, he enjoyed hunting on his grounds in Clinton with his son, Michael Jr. Mike loved spending time with his children and granddaughter, Alyssa.
He was predeceased by his father, John Stuckey, and brother, Jim Stuckey.
He is survived by his children, Michael J. Stuckey Jr. of Cliffwood Beach, N.J., and Dawn Hode of Toms River, N.J.; his mother, Victoria Stuckey; two brothers, Tom and John Stuckey; two sisters, Mary O'Brien and Ann Alt; and his beloved granddaughter, Alyssa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 1, with a funeral service at 7 p.m., at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, N.J. Final disposition will be held privately.
