CHAMPAIGN – Eula E. Koch-Pellum, 93, of Savoy passed away at 11 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 22, 2013) at Bickford Cottage, Champaign.
She was born Nov. 19, 1919, the daughter of Milton and Hester (Tarter) Foley at Adair County, Little Lake, Ky.
Eula married William B. Koch on Dec. 21, 1937. They were married for 55 years with William (Bill) passing away in 1992. Eula and Bill had three daughters surviving Eula - Barbara Hoover (Lonnie) of Urbana, Sandra Fry (Al) of Fairfield, Calif., and Billie Jean Krueger (Larry) of Savoy. Eula also left surviving five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Eula married Artie Earl Pellum on Nov. 21, 1999. Earl passed away on Nov. 8, 2012.
Eula is survived by her brother, Louis E. Foley (Betty), of Savoy.
Eula drove a school bus for many years and retired from the Champaign Unit 4 School District. Eula loved going to and having garage sales. She loved to cook and all of her family has many fond memories of "Koch's Kitchen" every Sunday!
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Morgan Funeral Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, and private graveside services at Prairieview Cemetery in Savoy, with the Rev, Jim McClarey officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Savoy United Methodist Church.
