TOLONO – Loretta Kay Holzinger Bohlen, 72, of Tolono passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends on Sunday (July 6, 2014).

She was born Oct. 9, 1941, a daughter of Frank and Vernie Holzinger. She married Vern Bohlen. He preceded her in death.

Loretta is survived by two daughters, Denise (Alex) Olivares and Diana Bohlen; one grandson, Jake (son of Diana); and one sister, Nancy Morrissey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jerry and Jimmy Holzinger; and one niece, Vicki Holzinger.

There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 212 E. Washington St., Tolono. Father Patrick Riordan will officiate.

She was a member of the VFW Post 630 Auxiliary Urbana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy, is handling arrangements.
