Travis Lilly

BEMENT – Travis L. Lilly, 28 of Bement passed away on Monday, Sept. 4, 2017.

He was born July 27, 1989, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, a son of Bob Lilly and Tina Lilly.

Travis will always be remembered as one of the most selfless people you could meet. He would bend over backward for anyone. He had his bad, but for every bad, he had two goods. He had more heart than a person should have. He was a family man; he loved his children with all of his heart. He loved to draw, to write, detail cars, listen to music and just be himself. We will all remember his smile, the way he laughed and all the memories we made along the way.

You showed us a lot of things, We learned a lot we didn't know, but you forgot to teach us one last thing, how to let you go; I know you didn't mean to leave us, Sometimes we have no choice. I wish we could have said, "I love you" before you went to the sky; If God could grant us one last wish, We would ask to say "goodbye." I guess what they say is true, God doesn't call them all back, he only takes the BEST ...

Travis is survived by his father, Bob Lilly of Bement; one sister, Amber Brown of Rantoul; and four brothers, Darrin Lilly of Farmer City, Clayton Lilly of Bement, Chris Lilly of Monticello and Brandon Lilly of Rantoul. Travis also has three children, Garrett, Carly and Brayden. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tina Lilly; Grandma and Grandpa Lilly; and Grandpa; Buck Ensign.

A celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at 1014 Oakcrest Drive, Rantoul.

Aaron and Susie Hinds of Hinds Funeral Home, Bement, has the honor to serve the family of Travis Lilly, "Our Family Is Here To Serve Your Family".
