Vena May Trenkle

FARMER CITY — Vena May Trenkle, 93, of Farmer City passed away at 11:30 p.m. Friday (July 13, 2018) at home in Farmer City.

Graveside inurnment services will be announced at a later time. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Trenkle was born Nov. 20, 1924, in Comanche, Okla., to Charles B. and Jennie M. Keith Missimore. She married Richard Paul Trenkle on Aug. 25, 1945, in Hillsboro. He passed away May 3, 1981.

Survivors include her son, James Paul Trenkle; two daughters, Denise (Randy) Perring and Vella Rebecca Trenkle, all of Farmer City; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one son and one daughter.

Vena taught country school first through eighth grade in rural Farmer City. She was a member of Prairie Chapel Church and attended Trinity Community Fellowship, Farmer City.
