Anna Warfield McQuillan

Anna Warfield McQuillan

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Anna Warfield McQuillan passed away on Monday (Sept. 17, 2018) at the Medical University of South Carolina. She was 48.

A former resident of Champaign, Anna attended Centennial High School during the 1980s and graduated from Marian Heights Academy in Ferdinand, Ind.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Taylor McQuillan of Charleston, S.C.; by her parents, James and Rochelle Warfield of Urbana; and by her sister, Christina Fisher, and her brothers, Joseph Glennon Warfield and Mark Alan Warfield, all from Champaign.

Anna’s life in Charleston, S.C., was a happy one that took full advantage of the warm weather, the beach and coastal living. Working in the tourist and entertainment business, she was always gracious, equally at home with the vacation visitors, Southern gentry, the poor and the homeless. Her outgoing personality, her love of life and her striking beauty will be long remembered by her Champaign-Urbana family and her friends in her adopted hometown of Charleston.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, Anna would wish that donations be made to a local religious or community charity of the donor’s choice.
