Global warming concerns unjustified
To distract concerned citizens from wondering about the government listening to our phone calls, the IRS targeting President Obama's enemies and all the other current scandals, our president has raised another total falsehood — global warming.
Since Obama's latest proposals will cost American jobs and slow the economy, everyone needs to know the facts:
Fact: Climate "change" has been going on since the Big Bang.
Fact: On June 4, 2009, a petition signed by 31,478 American scientists submitted to Congress said "There is no convincing evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce beneficial effects upon natural plant and animal environments of the earth."
Fact: The originator of the world-respected Gaia theory upon which global warming was based, Dr. James Lovelock, has said his predictions were wrong. We have no idea what is happening to the climate.
Fact: There will be no CO2 impact on the environment from Keystone Pipeline.
If these absolute facts are known to Obama, why is he promoting solar and wind, which are more costly and 20 times less effective than coal or nuclear?
