Legislature simply not doing its job

Legislature simply not doing its job

The state is broke. The Legislature cannot pass a budget, but can pass pieces of useless legislation that the state can't fund.

Spring session is almost up. So why is the Legislature going to leave Springfield? No one should leave Springfield until a budget is passed.

The entire Legislature should stay, and there would be no extra pay or per diem or whatever pay they would expect.

Let's face it, the Legislature has not done its job. It took Springfield 30 years to get Illinois in this mess and it will take a long time to get out.

Either work and start fixing the real problems or be replaced.
