Letter to the Editor | Bill celebration was hard to watch

I am confused. Illinois abolished the death penalty, yet Illinois passed an abortion law for the health and safety of the mother.

What about the baby who did not ask to be conceived, but because of being careless in most instances with having sex, the baby is murdered?

It made me sick to see the lawmakers and abortion rights activists holding hands and congratulating each other on a job well done.

I do not as a taxpayer accept the fact that we pay for these abortions through insurances.

When I worked in the criminal system, when an unborn baby was killed along with the mother, there was a count added for the murder of the baby also.

Really confusing, lawmakers. Well, you may be happy now, but when you reach the end of your life, you will have a higher power to answer to.
