URBANA — A Champaign woman who was out on bond after having been charged last week with two burglaries that occurred in June has been charged with another residential burglary.
And the Champaign County state's attorney's office has charged a man who was allegedly with her with two residential burglaries.
A Champaign police report said Brittany Clark, 23, who listed an address in the 1200 block of Foothill Drive, was charged Thursday with a June 10 residential burglary to a fraternity in the 1000 block of South Fourth Street in Champaign.
Champaign police Sgt. Dave Griffet said a man living there reported his laptop had been stolen and police detectives were able to obtain surveillance video that showed a man and a woman walking through the frat house that led them to Clark and co-defendant Anthony Lindsey.
Lindsey, 27, of the 3200 block of Ridgewood Drive, was charged Thursday with that break-in as well as a June 8 residential burglary to another fraternity in the 300 block of East Armory Drive.
Clark had been charged with the Armory burglary last week along with another break-in to an office at 505 Devonshire Drive on June 12.
Clark and Lindsey were both told to be back in court Aug. 28 on the residential burglary charges.
If convicted of the charges, they face mandatory prison terms of between four and 15 years.
