   UPDATE 2:45 p.m.:

     The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 7 p.m. Tuesday for the following counties: Ford, Iroquois, Champaign, Vermilion, Douglas, Edgar, Coles, Shelby, Moultrie, Piatt, Macon and DeWitt.

     Hail up to two inches in diameter is possible in these areas, along with wind gusts to 70 miles per hour and dangerous lightning.
