TUSCOLA - A burn ban in Douglas County has been lifted, said Emergency Management Agency Director Joe Victor.
He's still asking residents to be careful when they burn, though.
"We're still in a drought condition," Victor said. "However, things are beginning to green up."
He said the county is anticipating more rain, which reduces the risk of a fire getting out of control.
The ban had been for the whole county and started Aug. 2.
