DANVILLE — Provena United Samaritans Medical Center will begin a project today (Monday, Sept. 17) to replace sidewalks and driveways on the surgery ramp entrance on Logan Avenue.
During the project, which is expected to last five to six weeks, the ramp entrance will be closed.
Also, the visitor/patient parking lot located on the east corner of Logan Avenue and Fairchild Street will be closed to accommodate construction vehicles during that time.
Patients and visitors are being asked to use the main lobby entrance and parking lots on the south side of the campus.
"While we don't want to inconvenience any of our patients and visitors, our pathways will be much improved after this project is completed," Jennifer Cord, the hospital's vice president of operations, said in a news release.
"We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we continue to make improvements to our medical center."
