Returning favorites from last year include the Polar Express, the Ladies' Luncheon, the Heroes Lunch, the Crystal Ball and the Princess Tea Party, which has two seatings this year, said event coordinator Angie Lazzell. She said the Teddy Bear Breakfast, a perennial favorite, has been refreshed and renamed the Children's Holiday Breakfast this year, and the Silver Bells luncheon for seniors will be adding activities including Silver Bells bingo.
"We're thrilled to be able to offer something special for everyone," Lazzell said. "Our committees are working hard to make each and every special event outstanding again this year."
For the last 16 years, the Festival of Trees has raised money for the medical center foundation's outreach programs including I Sing the Body Electric, the HALO Project, Faith in Action and Young Women/Young Men Aware.
