The other day, I mentioned that I needed some cute bookends to finish sprucing up the shelves [3] in our spare room.
I'm hoping to make them myself, although if the right pair came along, I might consider buying them. (A reader the other day suggested I check out bookends on quill.com [4].)
Here are some ideas from Pinterest. There are tons of ideas out there, but I'd like to try to find some that are either retro or somewhat industrial (to go with our old industrial file cabinet [5]) or both. Still, some of these non-retro/industrial ideas are cute, too. I think I like the simplicity of the old clamps the best, but getting Rob to give up his clamps like that will be quite the trick.
