CHAMPAIGN — Scott Kelby's fifth annual Worldwide Photo Walk — the world's largest global social photography event in the history of photography — will take place Saturday, with Champaign getting in on the action.
Local photographer Joe Ethridge is helping central Illinois take part in this free worldwide event by organizing a walk from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in downtown Champaign. Anyone with a camera — even an iPhone or a disposable camera — is welcome to join the event.
For more information or to sign up to participate, visit http://worldwidephotowalk.com/walk/champaign-il-united-states-downtown-champaign/ [2]. Information also is available at ethridgephotography.com or via email at joe@ethridgephotography.com [3].
Added to this year's event is a special Google+ page. The Google+ platform will help people connect more easily across the globe, share images and possibly host a hangout or two, sharing some of their photo walk experiences.
