URBANA — This is the only full weekend of early voting in Champaign County, when registered voters are able to cast ballots on both Saturday and Sundays.
Eight early voting stations, most of which serve only particular precincts, will be open Saturday.
And the county clerk's office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday for any voter in the county to cast their general election ballot.
Through Thursday, nearly 7,000 Champaign County voters already had cast ballots, according to County Clerk Gordy Hulten. That includes early voters, in-person absentee voters and absentee ballots returned by mail. Almost half of the 6,911 ballots cast were early votes.
The county clerk's office was the most popular site (1,264 early voters), followed by a location in southwest Champaign at the Meadowbrook Community Church (863 early voters). The least popular so far was a site in St. Joseph.
Early voting will continue through Saturday, Nov. 3.
Early voters must provide an Illinois driver's license, an Illinois ID card or some other government-issued ID containing the applicant's photograph.

More
Yet Charlie Smyth continues to accuse Gordy Hulten of being part of a voter suppression conspiracy.
I keep looking for Savoy on these lists. Do you see it?
I think part/most of Savoy falls under Champaign Township (as opposed to City of Champaign Township).
Hulten didn't volunteer to institute early voting. It's required by law. He's just making voting as hard as he can for people who register during the grace period.
