PAXTON – Barbara Ann Kavajecz, 75, of Paxton died at 2:40 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 17, 2012) at Heartland Health Care Center of Paxton.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells St., Paxton, with the Rev. Jose Kadukunnel officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.
Visitation will be one hour before the funeral services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kavajecz was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Schofield, Wis., the daughter of Leo Frank and Elsie Ethel Fuller Boyack. She married George P. Kavajecz on Feb. 11, 1956, in Pine City, Minn. He preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2003.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Kavajecz of Rantoul, Mark Kavajecz of Belleville and Craig (Ruth) Kavajecz of Paxton; one daughter, Julie (Gregory) Cain of Moscow, Idaho; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one granddaughter.
Barb was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Paxton. She was an avid Cubs, NASCAR and Illini basketball fan and enjoyed watching old television shows.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or an organization of the donor's choice.
