A long search for the last comic strip to fill out our comics page lineup is over — based on overwhelmingly positive reaction from readers, we've picked up Chad Carpenter's Tundra [2], which we've been running as a guest comic for a little over a month.
Carpenter’s off-beat strip about life in Alaska is one of the fastest-growing comic strips in the country, now running in more than 500 newspapers worldwide. It won a Reuben Award in 2008 for Best Newspaper Panel from the National Cartoonist Society. Tundra will run Monday through Saturday for the time being, although we'll find a spot for it in the Sunday color comics as soon as we can.
