CHAMPAIGN — Police are investigating a reported stabbing on Champaign’s east side.
Police said they received a report of a stabbing in the 600 block of East Vine Street, Champaign, at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, where they said someone stabbed a Champaign man and then left the scene.
The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Police had no information on his condition late Wednesday night.
A police investigator went to the hospital to interview the victim, but officers said the victim was not cooperating.
No other information was available late Wednesday night.
