GIBSON CITY – Harold Earl Lange, 89, of Gibson City, formerly of Vandalia, Mo., died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 12, 2012) at the Illini Heritage Rehab Healthcare Center in Champaign.
Private graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 21, at the Danville National Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, at the Lamb Funeral Home in Gibson City.
Harold was born March 24, 1923, in Foosland, a son of Alfred and Mary (Walker) Lange.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Sara) Lange of Gibson City and Richard (Theresa) Lange of Pesotum; one brother, Carroll (Joyce) Lange of Gibson City; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Harold was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a carpenter, and loved gardening, trains and puzzle books. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
