It's been more than a week since we finished our bathroom floor, [3] but I'm finally getting around to posting a photo of it.
I could not be happier with the penny tiles. They're a little bit sparkly and are kind of like having a polka-dot floor, but in a socially acceptable way.
[4]Not to mention how nice it is to have a solid, not rotten, floor. It's kind of like we gave our bathroom a root canal.
The penny tiles really show pet hair and dust, we're finding, so we may have to adjust the cleaning schedule [5]. Although, it's occured to me that the old floor was good at hiding dirt because it was just plain nasty.
I figured this would be our last project for our bathroom [6], but then Rob bumped our made-of-pressboard vanity when he was putting it back and banged it up. It works for now, but we're looking into replacing it.
We thought about doing a pedestal, but we really need that extra under-sink storage.
So, I've been scouring Pinterest for DIY ideas. We've also talked about repurposing an actual piece of furniture for a sink.
Here are some ideas I like, although I'd love to hear your thoughts:
