Let me play Anthropology teacher since you didn't listen in school. Mexicans are NATIVE AMERICANS, WHITE. Spanish, and latin american migrants are CAUCASIAN, WHITE.
I'm glad you listened in your anthropology class. However...if this description did not have a previous mugshot with it people would assume the man they are looking for is caucasion. I am going out on a limb here but I was under the impression that the purpose of a description is to find the person. To do that the description should be ACCURATE. (I CAN WRITE IN ALL CAPS TOO).
What you're not getting here is the man is white. Mexican and hispanic are nationalities. Latino is a wild made up term. The mans skin color is white.
All race is a social construct.
Then why on the Champaign inmate list do they list latinos as wh? ( white hispanic)

With diversity increasing, the old way of describing individuals will not work. What if Tiger Woods was a fugitive? People do not fit into racial categories any more. I have met very few "white people" except those who were albino. Most "white people" are shades of pink, red, or tan.
Or in the case of the Speaker of the House, orange.
Well, surely we can all agree the man is not purple.
