MAHOMET – Elizabeth Kaye Roy, 1, of Mahomet passed away at 3:36 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 6, 2013) at Children's Hospital, St. Louis.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Mahomet. Monsignor James Ramer and Deacon Andy Heckman will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Mahomet. Rosary will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at the church with visitation following from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City, is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth was born Sept. 15, 2011, in Urbana, to Derrick Adam and Heather Nicole (Hellman) Roy.
She is survived by her parents of Mahomet; one brother, Kendrick Thomas Roy of Mahomet; paternal grandmother, Sheryl Sileven of Decatur; maternal grandparents, Timothy and Brenda Hellman of Wichita, Kan.; maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Catherine Hellman of Wichita, Kan.; maternal great-grandfather, Robert Schumacher of Victoria, Kan.; one uncle, Chris Hellman of Olathe, Kan.; and one aunt, Heather A. Roy of Iowa City, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Rick Roy; and her maternal great-grandmother, Bernadine Schumacher.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Mahomet.
