CHAMPAIGN — As freezing rain and ice accumulations dissipated Sunday night, the National Weather Service forecasts that the rest of the week should be relatively unremarkable.
Clouds are expected to break Sunday night, and sunny or partly-sunny conditions are expected to dominate beginning Monday and lasting through next weekend.
High temperatures are expected to remain in the mid- to upper-20s on Monday and Tuesday before warming into the 30s beyond that. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the teens.
The National Weather Service says Saturday could be the warmest day of the week with a high near 40 degrees.
