At Palmer Arena, Danville
Westville 43, Hoopeston Area 38. Danielle Gabehart scored 16 points and Ashley Hoffman added 10 as the Tigers remained unbeaten in their four-team pool. Hoffman scored eight first-half points as Westville took a 19-13 lead at the break. For Hoopeston, Haley Dixon and Sarah Dixon each scored 10 points.
Westville and Georgetown-Ridge Farm will play on Wednesday, with the winner advancing to the championship game and the loser playing for third place on Friday.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm 50, Oakwood 13. Callan Hall and Brittany Hay scored 14 points apiece for the Buffaloes in a lopsided win. G-RF outscored the Comets 23-3 in the second half.
Armstrong-Potomac 31, Bismarck-Henning 27. Kirsten Newnum and Erika Sieberns each scored 10 points to lead the Trojans to a narrow victory. Jessica Hall led B-H with eight points.
Little Okaw Valley Tournament
Tri-County 53, Okaw Valley 38. Autumn Meyer went 14 for 18 at the foul line and scored 26 points to lead the top-seeded Titans (15-4) to victory. Amber Meyer contributed 12 rebounds and six steals to the win.
Shiloh 43, Cerro Gordo/Bement/DeLand-Weldon 38. The Raiders held on for a close win behind Shelby Smith’s three three-pointers and 22 points. Arionna Gant scored 14 points for the Broncos.
Arcola 40, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 39. Taylor Edwards scored seven of her team-high 17 points in overtime to life the Purple Riders to victory. Ashley Tabb scored 21 points for the Lancers, who rallied from a five-point deficit after three quarters to send the game into OT.
Villa Grove 60, Heritage 36. Lizzy Smith scored 25 points and Courtney Helm added 21 to lead the third-seeded Blue Devils to victory. Dallas McCormick had 17 points, five steals and five rebounds for the Hawks.
Sangamon Valley Tournament
Watseka 84, Clifton Central 12. Led by Devin Curry’s 18 points, 10 players scored for the second-seeded Warriors in the rout.
PBL 40, Cissna Park 26. The third-seeded Panthers built a 14-3 first-quarter lead and stayed in control behind Kandace Hofer’s 13 points. Cissna Park’s Addison Stoller scored 11 of her game-high 15 points in the second half.
St. Thomas More 86, Momence 17. The Sabers scored the first 35 points of the game and forced 38 turnovers while rolling to their 20th win of the season. Randa Harshbarger had 16 points and eight steals for STM, and five other Sabers scored in double figures.
St. Joseph-Ogden 48, Iroquois West 46. The Spartans built a 31-27 lead through three quarters and hung on to defeat the host school. Emily Dunlap, Ashley Landis, KATIE Landis and Tori Masters scored nine points apiece for SJ-O. Morgan Small led the Raiders with 18 points.
Centennial 54, Normal U-High 42. Chelsea Cross scored 15 points and Chantal Meacham added 12 to lead the Chargers to a road win.
El Paso-Gridley 66, Blue Ridge 22. Jamison Brandt scored 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Knights in a home loss.
Lexington 31, GCMS 24. Katie Massey scored 11 points for the Falcons in a home defeat.
Tremont 44, Ridgeview 33. The Mustangs led by four points after one quarter but were outscored 36-21 thereafter in a home defeat. Paige Jones scored 15 points for Ridgeview, while Lindsey Graham contributed six rebounds and five steals.
Fieldcrest 52, Fisher 45. The Bunnies trailed by one point entering the fourth quarter but couldn’t keep up with Fieldcrest thereafter in a road loss. Caitlin Cole and Sydney Blackwell scored 20 and 15 points, respectively, for Fisher.
Unity 52, Monticello 32. The Rockets rolled to a home victory behind Hannah Stone’s 15 points, eight rebounds and six steals. Rebecca Maxwell scored 18 points for Unity, and Kennedy Hartman added 12 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Chrissy Gadbury led the Sages with nine points.
Judah Christian 48, Cornerstone Christian 26. The Tribe raced to a 20-1 first-quarter lead en route to a home victory. Kristina Lee scored 24 points for Judah. Alex Grady added seven points and seven steals.
Sullivan 62, Tuscola 53. Asia Morrison’s double-double (13 points, 14 rebounds) lifted the host Redskins. Brittin Boyer and Emily Neuhauser combined for 31 of Sullivan’s points. Amber Miller scored 20 points for Tuscola.
Tri-Point 54, Buckley Christ Lutheran 17. Andrea DeBella scored 13 points and Shelby Spitz grabbed nine rebounds in a road loss.
Decatur Lutheran 42, Urbana Uni High 36. Madeleine Nelson scored 14 points and Emma Hoyer finished with 10 points, 11 blocks and nine rebounds for the Illineks in a road loss.
Maroa-Forsyth 63, Argenta-Oreana 39. Kandie Bloch scored 21 points for the Bombers in a home defeat.
Clinton 46, St. Teresa 33. Haley Ginger and Megan Tool each scored 12 points for the Maroons improved to 20-3 with a road win.
In boys’ basketball
Chrisman 51, Tri-County 43. On a night that Chrisman named its court after coaching great Roger Beals, the Cardinals prevailed behind Austin Merritt’s 21 points. Luke Clapp scored 19 points to Tri-County.
Judah Christian 47, Cornerstone Christian 44. Dylan Hamilton scored 17 points and Aubrey Davis went 4 for 4 from three for 12 points, leading the Tribe to a home win.
Danville First Baptist 67, Urbana Calvary 39. Jonathan Garver scored 24 of his 25 points in the first three quarters in a road win.
