OSMAN – Marcia Kay Fugh, 66, of Osman passed away at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 16, 2013) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City, with Pastor Michael Dean and Pastor Mark Jordan officiating. Inurnment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Foosland, at a later date.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Cunningham Children's Home, P.O. Box 878, Urbana, IL 61803.
Marcia was born Oct. 7, 1946, in Champaign, a daughter of O.G. and Laura Kathryn Lorenzen Carpenter. She married Gary Fugh on July 10, 1965, in Foosland.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Fugh of Osman; their children, Gail (Gary) Miller of Danville, Todd (Sandy) Fugh of Greendale, Wis., and Aaron (Amanda) Fugh of Foosland; grandchildren, Marlee Miller of Danville, Nicholas Fugh of Greendale, Wis., Grant Fugh of Greendale, Wis., Cody Smith of Foosland, Casey Smith of Foosland, Emma Fugh of Foosland, Lilly Fugh of Foosland and Josephine Fugh of Foosland.
Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Della Hudson of Gibson City, Ron Carpenter of Thorsby, Ala., Steve Carpenter of Littleton, Colo., Jean (Bill) Farmer of Sibley and Gary Carpenter of Foosland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Carpenter; and sister, Kathy Moore.
Marcia dedicated part of her life to educating children and working at several businesses in the area.
Marcia was a member of the Foosland United Methodist Church and was currently attending New Horizon United Methodist Church, Champaign. She was a dedicated farm wife. Marcia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all.
