URBANA — Urbana police are looking for the persons who fired shots into a house in southeast Urbana late Thursday night.
Urbana police investigator Tim McNaught said a resident of the 2200 block of Country Squire Drive heard three to four shots about 11:13 p.m., looked out the window and saw a number of people running for cars. Three vehicles left.
McNaught said at least two rounds went through the house. One of those hit a bedroom wall where a 44-year-old male said he was sleeping.
There were also a 39-year-old woman and 18-year-old male in the home. None of them was hurt.
McNaught said the vehicles were sedans. Two headed east and one went west.
No one was arrested.
