CHAMPAIGN — Police are investigating a report of shots being fired Friday afternoon on Champaign's north side.
Champaign Police Department spokeswoman Rene Dunn said that police were called to the 1300 block of Clock Street at 2:57 p.m. Friday.
Witnesses said that a group of people were standing on that block when a vehicle sped by and fired an unknown number of shots.
Dunn said that a second vehicle in the area was also shot at. Nobody was reported hurt, according to police.
