
MANSFIELD – Denver L. Partlow, 50, of Mansfield passed away at 7:02 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 7, 2013) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the Mansfield United Methodist Church, Mansfield. Pastor Sharon Monroe will officiate. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, 106 N. Main St., Farmer City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Piatt Fire Protection District, the Mansfield United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
Mr. Partlow was born Oct. 6, 1962, in Monticello, to Howard L. and Dorris E. Neibarger Partlow Sr. He married Julie Ann Lovins on Dec. 25, 1981, in Mansfield. She passed away Aug. 28, 2011.
Survivors include his mother, Dorris E. Partlow of Mansfield; one son, Jeremy (Alexis) Partlow of Lena; one daughter, April Lynn (Chris) Manning of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Mason Partlow, Alexander and Karlie Summers; one stepgrandchild, Zanian Manning; two brothers, Ernest (Cindy) Partlow of York, S.C., and Howard (Tracy) Partlow Jr. of Mansfield; and one sister, Brenda (Mark) Voss of Champaign.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Denver was a self-employed mechanic and crane operator. He was a volunteer fireman with the Northern Piatt Fire Protection District and a member of the Operating Engineers Local 841, Terra Haute, Ind.
Denver was an avid biker and participated in many charity rides.
