Wavering gets promotion. Matt Wavering of Champaign has been named director of commercial brokerage for the Champaign office of Coldwell Banker Commercial Devonshire Realty.
He has been with the firm since 2006, becoming a commercial real estate broker before being promoted to assistant director in 2010.
Vermilion Advantage adds Shade. Tinisha Shade will join the staff of Vermilion Advantage, Danville, as special projects coordinator, effective Monday.
Her duties will include oversight of local retail business support and data collection, business professional recruitment assistance and workforce development curriculum instruction.
Shade has been the marketing coordinator for Provena United Samaritans Medical Center since September 2011.
Shade, a former reporter and anchor for WCIA-TV, will replace Alicia Pettigrew, who has been with Vermilion Advantage since January 2010. Pettigrew will remain with the organization until May, when she and her family will relocate to the Chicago area.
Parker joins Keller Williams. Cathy Parker has joined Keller Williams Realty, Champaign, as a broker with The Bechtel Group.
She has earned the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors.
Englehardt named branch manager. Brett Englehardt has been promoted to branch manager and loan officer with First Federal Savings Bank of Champaign-Urbana.
He is responsible for customer service, operations and lending at the Urbana branch, 301 W. Springfield Ave.
Englehardt has been with First Federal since 2011 and was most recently residential loan officer at the Neil Street office in Champaign.
Tenhouse cited for service. Steven D. Tenhouse of Monticello was recently recognized by the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network for serving on the network's board since 2007.
Tenhouse is the chief executive officer at Kirby Medical Center, Monticello.
He has served as past president and most recently secretary-treasurer of the network's board.
Boyd gets top award. Mac Boyd of Arcola has received Farmers National Co.'s top award, the Gold Eagle Award, for outstanding efforts in real estate sales.
Bihlmire achieves certification. Sherry Bihlmire has achieved the status of Certified Pharmacy Technician, having recently passed her certification board examination.
She is employed by Complete Care Pharmacy in downtown Champaign, where she helps pharmacists with inventory control and the filling of prescriptions and also helps customers.
Bihlmire has worked as a pharmacy technician since 2010 and was formerly employed by Schnucks Pharmacy in Savoy.
Dulak to teach in New York. Janice Dulak will teach a seminar course at True Pilates New York on March 9.
True Pilates New York is the home studio to Romana Kryzanowska, protege of Joseph Pilates.
Dulak began her training with Kryzanowska more than two decades ago and was made a Master Teacher in 2001.
She will teach the first session in a series titled "What Romana Taught Me," and is one of nine teachers who will provide expertise to instructors and apprentices during the seminar.
Dulak is owner of the Dulak Pilates Center in downtown Champaign.
Powell receives Daisy Award. Registered nurse Robin Powell of Urbana received the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses at Carle in February.
She is a charge nurse and preceptor working in the cardiac catheterization lab. She has been at Carle since 1993.
