CHARLESTON — Pianist Kara Huber, originally of Oakland, will perform as part of the guest artist series at Eastern Illinois University at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Doudna Recital Hall on campus. The free performance is open to the public.
Huber has degrees from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and has performed and competed in numerous states as well as abroad. She is now completing a residency at the Banff Centre in Canada. The evening performance will consist of works by Frederic Chopin, Gabriel Faure and Ludwig von Beethoven.
