The Chairman of the Champaign County Board said there are no plans to sell the county's nursing home.
Al Kurtz sounded off on the matter on Monday on the WDWS Morning Show.
He said the county has a challenge when it comes to funding the nursing home, but he said there's a strong program in place to save money each year by reducing contract nursing.
Kurtz said his goal is not for the nursing home to make a profit.
Kurtz also said the nursing home has an exceptional reputation, and his main priority is maintaining that reputation.
