Each week at our new high school website at news-gazette.com, we’ll go behind the scenes with an area football team. First up: top-ranked Unity, which opened the season with a bang in a 48-13 win at Warrensburg-Latham
About this project:
To kick off our weekly behind-the-scenes project, we turned to Philo’s Ryan Miller, a 16-year-old junior at Unity High School who used his cellphone to tell the team’s story as it prepared for Friday’s game at Warrensburg-Latham. Like the Rockets in their season-opener, the team’s manager didn’t disappoint. He got the Rockets at practice, at the dinner table, on the playing field and getting off the bus.
