It's D-Day for Cliff Alexander, with all signs point toward Kansas. For Quentin Snider, it's Louisville after the point guard changed his mind. But Leron Black signed his LOI with Illinois today.
It's D-Day for Cliff Alexander, with all signs pointing toward Kansas. Beat writer Marcus Jackson and radio talent Michael Kiser will be at Chicago Curie with the latest. Our live report on HQ starts at 2 p.m. and programming on WDWS 1400-AM (which can be streamed here ) starts at 3 p.m.
While we wait on Alexander, Illini commit Quentin Snider has changed his mind. The Louisville Courier-Journal first reported the point guard still was considering an offer from Louisville. Read about it here.
One he eventually accepted. Read about it here
Another high-profile Illini recruit, Loren Black, is expected to sign his letter of intent during a 1 p.m. ceremony at his Memphis, Tenn., high school.
Snider's departure still leaves Illinois at scholarship capacity for the 2013-14 season. If Alexander comes aboard, they will be one over the limit.
