Bob Asmussen's got your weekend viewing suggestions right here.
Our friends at BTN have access to every league championship. And they are going to show them. It starts with the women's golf tournament May 7. The men's tournament, dominated in recent years by Illinois, will be shown May 14.
Other sports on the schedule include women's tennis (May 8), men's tennis (May 8), softball (May 9-10), baseball (May 21-25), rowing (May 25), men's and women's track (May 25).
A warning: only the softball and baseball tournaments will be aired live.
Now that you've got the spring schedule for BTN (clip and save), you need help with your more immediate TV planning. Here is your weekend viewing guide:
"Late Night with Seth Meyers"
11:30 p.m., WAND (NBC)
Miss the Winter Olympics? Me, too. But Meyers provides a look back with guests Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski, who became stars at Sochi with their figure skating calls. Wonder what Weir will wear? Maybe some of the new Illinois gear.
"The Ten Commandments"
6 p.m., WICD (ABC)
Who knew "Moses" wore purple in college? The late Charlton Heston, a Northwestern alum, plays the key role in the movie. Certainly one of his most famous parts, other than "Ben-Hur" and his work with the NRA. It's a long show, but the commercials break it up pretty well. They didn't have C.G.I. when the film was made in 1956. You'll be able to tell when Heston parts the Red Sea. Fa-key. But charming.
"In My Dreams"
8 p.m., WICD (ABC)
Hard to miss the endless promos for the film, which is from Hallmark Hall of Fame. The description is intriguing: After meeting in dreams, a man and a woman have seven days to turn the romance into reality. Or you can watch baseball on ESPN.
