The Champaign Central baseball team beat Charleston 6-3 and improves to 26-1 on the season.
■ Okaw Valley 2-2, Tri-County 1-0. In game one, Cyrus Furgeson and Brandon Getche had two hits apiece for the Titans. Campbell Foster struck out six.
In the second game, Foster had one hit for the Titans, while Furgeson pitched a complete game and struck out three.
■ Armstrong-Potomac 2, Bismarck-Henning 1. Isaiah Robles allowed two hits and struck out nine in a complete game for A-P. Dentler Loschen and Christian Hunt each had an RBI. Dylan Dodd had a hit and an RBI for B-H.
■ St. Thomas More 7, Unity 0. Mike Plecki had two hits and scored two runs for the Sabers. Storm Joop added two hits and scored three runs. Harrison York had three RBI. Unity’s Zach Gadbury had two hits.
■ South Newton 13, Cissna Park 5. Wyatt Froehling homered and had two RBI for the Timberwolves. Josh Marquez was 2 for 3.
■ Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley 4, Ridgeview 3. The Falcons scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Jake Brewer was 3 for 3 with an RBI for GCMS. Teammate Austin Hornstein had two hits and scored two runs. Ryne Klintworth had two hits for Ridgeview.
■ Salt Fork 3, Westville 1. Garrett McFadden had two hits for the Storm in their 18th straight victory. Kyle Brazas and Tyler Dicken each had a hit for Westville.
■ St. Joseph-Odgen 12, Oakwood 0. Brock Immke struck out eight in four innings for the Spartans. Clayton Slifer was 3 for 3 with three RBI.
■ Tuscola 2, Cerro Gordo/Bement 1. Clayton Turner had a hit and an RBI for the Warriors. Connor Gross was 2 for 2 for CG/B.
■ Villa Grove/Heritage 5, Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 2. Chance Lemmon had two hits and an RBI for the Hawks. Tyler Schuring was 1 for 2 and scored a run for the Knights.
■ Central 6, Charleston 3. Alec Altmyer struck out eight and allowed two earned runs for the Maroons. Jonathan Foster had three hits and Alec Barger had two hits. Joseph Aeilts added two RBI. Central is now 26-1 on the season.

■ Fisher 14, St. Thomas More 2. The Bunnies scored 14 runs in the first two innings. Megan McCoy, Toree Stalter and Kelcie Fredrickson homered for Fisher. Hannah Varner had two hits and three RBI. Emma Powell and Josie Powell each hit a double for the Sabers.

■ Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 11-17, Villa Grove/Heritage 3-5. In game one, the Knights scored a run in every inning. Katie Wildman was 4 for 5 with three RBI. Mikayla Miller had two hits and scored three runs. Emily Seegmiller went 2 for 4 with an RBI. In the second game, Alex Miller was 4 for 4 with two RBI for the Knights. Seegmiller was 3 for 5 with two RBI, while Wildman added two hits and four RBI. Wildman pitched two complete games and is now 14-5 on the season.
In track and field
■ At Paxton. St. Joseph-Ogden(142.5 points) won the Sangamon Valley Conference girls’ meet. Abby Gawthorp won the 3,200-meter run for the Spartans (12 minutes 16.46 seconds). Abby Fisher won the 1,600-meter run (5:34.52). The Spartans won the 800-meter relay (1:53.88). Other first-place finishes for SJO included Alyssa Pridemore in the 800 (2:25.00) and Hanna Atwood in the pole vault (9 feet 6 inches). STM’s Elizabeth Bristow won the high jump (5-2) and triple jump (33-10 1/2). Emily Allhands finished first in the shot put (35-5) for Watseka, and teammate Natalie Castonguay won the 100-meter dash (13.11).
In boys’ tennis
■ At Decatur. St. Thomas More defeated St. Teresa 8-1. Travis Tressler won at the No. 1 singles spot 6-1, 6-2. At the No. 2 position, Josh Stringer won his match 6-0, 6-1. Chris Tate finished off the singles sweep with a 6-1, 6-1 victory. The No. 3 doubles team of Connor Gross and Mason McGuire ended the day with a 6-1. 6-2 win for the Sabers.
