The News-Gazette is changing its policy on engagements, weddings and civil unions.
Effective June 1, there will be a $20 charge for all engagement announcements. Weddings will continue to carry a $50 charge and so will civil union ceremonies.
For those who wish to publish announcements both before and after their “big day,” there is a discounted price of $60 — a $10 savings.
All submissions will require payment before publication. The new forms will be available online here [2]starting June 1.
We will continue to publish birthdays, anniversaries, new names in the news and other milestones at no charge.

Do you have an email address to submit 50th Wedding Anniversary announcements to? I have a nice jpg of my parent's wedding photo, but not a hard copy of their wedding picture. Thanks!

Yes, absolutely! You can email anniversary photos to news@news-gazette.com [7]. The photos should be a .jpg attachment and generally 4x6 inches at 200 dots per inch (dpi) to ensure they will hold up for print.
In the body of the email, please indicate that it is an anniversary photo and provide the name (obviously), so we can download it to the proper place.
