RANTOUL – Hanna Mennenga pitched a no-hitter to lead Rantoul past Urbana 4-3 Monday in prep softball.
Mennenga improved to 9-6. The Tigers benefited from three Rantoul errors.
Kelsey Gass had two hits and an RBI for the Eagles.
Milford 13, Armstrong-Potomac 2. Ashley McKay went 3 for 3 with a homer and five RBI to pace the host Bearcats (6-5, 3-2 Vermilion Valley).
Jessica Cann added two hits. Winning pitcher Julie Estay allowed four hits.
Heritage 5, South Piatt 4. Lindsey Nickelson collected two hits and scored two runs for host Heritage.
Heather Luth added a double and two RBI for the Hawks (7-6).
Prairie Central 5, Blue Ridge 4. Kirsten Brummitt had two of her team's four hits in the Hawks' home win.
Shianne Busch drove in a run for Prairie Central (10-7).
Maroa-Forsyth 6, Unity 0. Kasie Woodworth had two of the visiting Rockets' five hits against unbeaten Maroa-Forsyth.
Sullivan 4, Meridian 1. Tabitha Davis tripled and drove in a run to lead the visiting Redskins.
Davis also picked up the victory, allowing five hits and a run to go with eight strikeouts.
Sangamon Valley 3, Villa Grove 0. Rachael Bishop had the visiting Blue Devils' only hit.
PBL 12, Tri-Point 1. Cameron Lovrant and Dylan Overstreet homered to back Andy Fairchild's one-hit pitching for visiting Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
Fairchild (1-0) fanned five and walked six.
Overstreet was 3 for 3 with a pair of RBI. Lovrant slugged a two-run homer in the first and added an RBI single in the second.
Oakwood 7, Bismarck-Henning 2. Brady Leeman and Nathan Burke collected two hits to spark visiting Oakwood.
Lucas Haynes had two hits and an RBI for the Blue Devils.
Sangamon Valley 3, Villa Grove 1. Jesse Shrum doubled in the Blue Devils' road loss.
Blue Ridge 6, Prairie Central 5. Michael Brandt homered for the visiting Knights (11-8).
Trent Bounds had two hits, including a homer, for the Hawks (6-10).
East Central 8, South Piatt 2. Host East Central improved to 6-0 in the Little Okaw Valley behind the seven-strikeout pitching of freshman Aaron Larson.
Cole Judy and Rich Little had two hits for the winners.
In boys' tennis:
Central 9, Eisenhower 0. The Maroons improved to 4-0 in Big 12 play ahead of Thursday's rivalry match at Centennial.
"We're playing well right now, so Coach Davis is happy," Central coach Scott Davis said. "The big test comes Thursday."
Joel Yambert, Robbie Crow, Kendrith Rowland, Keegan Bannon, Hogan Sills and Patrick Wampler did not lose a set in sweeping the singles matches for the Maroons (5-1).
Monticello 3, Meridian 0. Hannah Smith had a goal and an assist for the visiting Sages (5-5-1).
Shelby Hardimon and Kelsey Hardimon also scored for Monticello. Keeper Colleen Donohue made four saves.
Judah Christian 4, First Baptist 1. Alyssa Chambers scored twice and Jenny Valdovinos and Sophie Kim scored for host Judah Christian (4-4).
In boys' track & field:
At Clinton. Byron Conner won the 100 meters and Mark Westerfield captured the 300-meter intermediate hurdles for Clinton in a six-team meet.
In girls' track & field:
At Clinton. Angie Sabaduquia (100 hurdles), Jessica Smith (200) and Megan Mitchell (high jump) won individual events for the host Maroons, who won a six-team meet.
