Big Ten honors Guthrie. Illini junior Luke Guthrie, who tied for medalist honors at the Kepler Intercollegiate last weekend, is the Big Ten Men's Co-Golfer of the Week.
The conference announced Guthrie's selection Wednesday. He shared the award with Purdue freshman Adam Schenk.
Guthrie won the second tournament title of his college career, shooting a 3-under-par 210 at the Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. Guthrie sank a 30-foot birdie putt on the final hole to tie Kent State's John Hahn for first place.
The weekly award is Guthrie's third this season.
