In boys' basketball

Urbana Uni 52, Bement 36. The Illineks got 22 points and 10 rebounds from TAHAR BOWEN-PINTO in the Central Illinois Turkey Tourney victory. JOSEPH SONG chipped in 12 points.

Decatur Lutheran 80, Atwood-Hammond 57. ANDY WEBB's 23 points paced the Rajahs in the Central Illinois Turkey Tourney.

Sullivan 63, Arthur 51. MITCH MOLZEN scored 21 for the Redskins, who pulled away in the second half. Arthur got 19 points from CURTIS PLANK.

Meridian 91, Arthur Okaw Christian 57. ADAM BEACHY's 25 points led Arthur Okaw Christian.

Iroquois West 50, Milford 39. KEATON ZIRKLE had 16 points and 11 rebounds in the Raiders' victory. BEN WALL and JORDAN HANSEN added 13 apiece.

Prairie Central 66, Blue Ridge 47. ADDISON BOUNDS had 25 points and IAN BRISCOE added 17 for the Hawks in the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley tourney.

Bismarck-Henning 70, Tri-Point 36. TANNER RIBBE scored 23 points as the Blue Devils cruised in the GCMS tourney.

Roanoke-Benson 49, GCMS 38. SAM JOHNSON's eight points led the Falcons.

Champaign Central 109, East Peoria 48. CLAYTON JONES scored 25 points and CORVON BUTLER added 19 as the Maroons rolled at the Tournament of Champions in Washington. JORDAN CAROLINE had 14 points and MYLES McCARTY chipped in 11 as all 12 players scored for the Maroons, who had 94 points after three quarters. "We pressured them and they turned the ball over," Central coach SCOTT DAVIS said. "We took advantage of our quickness and we shared the ball, which was good to see." Central, which made eight three-pointers, takes on Washington on Thursday night.

Tri-County 48, Salt Fork 46. DOUG FINDLAY scored six of his 11 points in overtime to lead the Titans in the Hayden's Turkey Tourney. ALEC DUTTON and DAVID SACRE scored 12 apiece for the Storm.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm 51, Judah Christian 48. MATTHEW HAY scored 16 points and RYAN DIEU added 13 as the Buffaloes held on in the Hayden's Turkey Tourney.

Luther East 82, Buckley Christ Lutheran 59. CASEY SCHMIDT had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Christ Lutheran.

In girls' basketball

Tuscola 52, Arthur-Lovington 22. SAMMI KOHLBECKER had 21 points, five steals and three assists for the Warriors. ERIN WEAVER added 10 points and six rebounds.

Champaign Central 63, Rantoul 27. OLIVIA SHEEHAN (16 points) led four Maroons in double figures. DANYAE SHOFFNER (10 points, 10 rebounds), JOHYNN-A EVANS (11 points, eight rebounds) and KEWANEE GARRETT (10 points) also chipped in. Sheehan had five steals.

Urbana Uni 45, Hoopeston Area 12. JAMIE BLUE's 18 points and four steals led the Illineks. EMMA HOYER had 12 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks.

St. Thomas More 47, Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin 23. All-tourney team selection RANDA HARSHBARGER (21 points, six rebounds, six steals) led the Sabers in the Blue Star Country Classic. ELAYNA KRAMER (12 points) hit four three-pointers. LEXI WALLEN (nine points) also was named to the all-tourney team.

Urbana 57, Mahomet-Seymour 55. TIFFANY WALTHOUR (24 points, 15 rebounds) hit two free throws with 18 seconds left for the decisive points in the Blue Star Country Classic. JESSICA MACK added 18 points for the Tigers. KRISTEN BELYEA paced the Bulldogs with 19 points and seven rebounds, while MADDIE SEE added 10 rebounds. All-tourney selection MAGGIE SCHMIDT scored 12 points.

Monticello 50, Danville 45. ELISE PONTIOUS (nine rebounds) and MEGAN GARRETT combined to hit 7 of 8 free throws down the stretch as the Sages held on in the Blue Star Country Classic.

Milford 54, Georgetown-Ridge Farm 35. ASHLEN PORTWOOD scored 21 points for the Bearcats at the McDonald's Comet Classic. KINSEY KNAUTH had 13 points and DINA WOODWORTH 10. G-RF got 14 points from BRITTANY HAY.

Oakwood 45, Chrisman 14. MAKENZIE BAKER scored 27 points for the Comets.

Iroquois West 38, Armstrong-Potomac 36. The Raiders rallied in the fourth quarter behind KARRIE HEIDEMAN's 11 points. JEN COX had eight points and 14 rebounds. BROOKE MARKWALDER led the Trojans with 26 points.

Cerro Gordo 48, St. Teresa 44. KRISTIE KRIGBAUM's 13 points and 10 rebounds led the Broncos. ARIONNA GANT had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

In wrestling

St. Joseph-Ogden 48, Schlarman 18. DAVID TREWYN (126 pounds) and SKYLAR PUMPHERY (152) posted wins by fall in the Spartans' victory.
