On Saturday, December 31, 2011, President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. This "law" violates the Constitution of these United States of America! As a result of this law, American citizens can be arrested and imprisoned without benefit of a lawyer, being notified of charges against them, a trial or even notification to their families/friends. Add to that is the fact that our military would be responsible for making these arrests - NOT law enforcement. Please read up on this illegal "law" - especially Sections 1031 & 1032 - which deals with the American citizen issue.
Also, read up on SOPA which is being considered by Congress now while you're at it. SOPA will censor internet use, and can remove sites it deems "unfavorable" (such as making negative comments agains "our" government and their policies.) or may be linked to other sites.
Please read anything/everything you can find on NDAA & SOPA, check out any/all videos on these two subjects. Our RIGHTS are being taken from us - all in the (false) name of SECURITY. Please don't fall for the lies. PLEASE check this out for yourselves - before it's too late.
Jonathan Turley calls the
Jonathan Turley calls the NDAA "one of the greatest rollbacks of civil liberties in the history of our country..."

Turley goes on to say, "You do not “support our troops” by denying the principles for which they are fighting. They are not fighting to consolidate authoritarian powers in the President. The “American way of life” is defined by our Constitution and specifically the Bill of Rights. Moreover, the insistence that you do not intend to use authoritarian powers does not alter the fact that you just signed an authoritarian measure. It is not the use but the right to use such powers that defines authoritarian systems."
There ya go folks. Money buys the politicians, politicians serve their masters, and we have no say in the matter. Get back to work (or trying to find it), keep your mouths shut, and pay your taxes. Suckers.
Next time I hear someone say "God bless America" I think I'll just laugh. It beats crying.
The government can detain
The government can detain anybody they want, even citizens in the US, and hold them indefinitely without due process. What do you mean "before it's too late"?
