In boys' basketball
Champaign Central 60, Bolingbrook 56. Corvon Butler had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lift the Maroons to a win at Joliet Central.
The game was tied going to the fourth quarter.
Clayton Jones hit four three-pointers and scored 14 for the Maroons.
At HOIC/McLean County tournament. Dana Bose had 15 points and Bryce Powell 14 to lead a balanced Ridgeview attack that saw six players score at least six points in a 64-28 victory against LeRoy at the Illinois Wesleyan Shirk Center in Bloomington.
In girls' basketball
At Sangamon Valley tournament. Lexi Wallen had 18 points and Erica Wallen chipped in 11 as St. Thomas More cruised past CPCI 61-16 at Momence.
At Watseka, Josey Fruhling (12 points) and Bailey Trimble (10) scored in double figures to lift St. Joseph-Ogden to a 55-10 win against Clifton Central.
Led by Devin Curry's 16 points and Allison Kaper's 13, host Watseka beat Iroquois West 47-33.
Centennial 49, U-High 35. Katelynn Martinez scored 15 points and Stacia Simmons 12 as the Chargers opened a 14-5 first-quarter lead and never looked back in a Galesburg tournament game played at Normal.
Judah Christian 38, Cornerstone Christian 30. Kristina Lee was two steals shy of a triple-double, posting 17 points and 11 rebounds in the Tribe's road victory. Maddie Johnson had 11 points (three three-pointers) and Leslee Chambers had six points, eight rebounds and five assists for Judah, which outscored Cornerstone 19-14 in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Uni High 56, Decatur Lutheran 50. Jamie Blue had 18 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as Uni used a strong second half to remain unbeaten (4-0) in ECIC play.
The host Illineks, who outscored Decatur Lutheran 32-25 after the break, also got solid performances from Emma Hoyer (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Jaki Vipond (16 points).
Tuscola 48, Sullivan 31. Erin Weaver poured in 24 points to lead the host Warriors, who pulled away in the second half. Tuscola also got 12 points from Susan Ponder.
Bloomington Central Catholic 78, Rantoul 55. Hannah Wascher had 25 points and Diamond Walker chipped in 15, but the Eagles lost on the road.
Clinton 56, St. Teresa 48. Haley Toohill's 20 points led the Maroons to a home win. Clinton led 49-28 entering the fourth quarter.
At Little Okaw Valley Conference tournament. Abby Smith paced Tri-County with 18 points as the Titans overpowered Martinsville 52-21.
Heritage, which got 13 points apiece from Katie Lannon and Dallas McCormick, raced to a 14-point halftime lead en route to a 49-22 win against Okaw Valley.
Taylor Edwards' 14 points paced a 42-29 Arcola victory against Cerro Gordo. Lexi Edwards and Cara Edwards added eight points apiece for the Purple Riders.
Shelby Smith scored 18 points, Morgan Wood had 12 and Bethany McGinness added 11 as Shiloh beat South Piatt 65-31.
At Clifton. Thomas Hansen (195 pounds) won by pin and Lucas Rice (182) by major decision, but St. Thomas More lost 54-25 at Clifton Central.
