In boys' basketball
Judah Christian 51, Uni High 48. Malik Williams had 16 points, seven assists and four rebounds to lead the host Tribe to its 10th win.
Krys McClure added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ethan Chitty had 14 points and five rebounds for Judah (10-8).
Urbana University dropped to 11-4 despite 22 points from Tahar Bowen-Pinto. He was the only player in double figures for the Illineks.
Mahomet-Seymour 53, Prairie Central 43. The host Bulldogs jumped to a 15-point lead at halftime and held on for the victory.
Reid Farchmin, who surpassed 1,000 points in his career, led Mahomet-Seymour with 19 points. Brad Herrmann added 10.
Kyler Hoffman scored 12 points for Prairie Central, and Addison Bounds added 10.
Normal West 54, Urbana 39. A 15-7 third quarter gave the host Wildcats a cushion in their Big 12 win against the short-handed Tigers.
Urbana played without coach Vashoune Russell, whose father passed away earlier in the week. The Tigers were also without starters P.J. Blissit and Darrion Brown.
Austin Stewart led Normal West (15-4) with 20 points. Kaleb Smith led Urbana (6-9) with nine.
Arthur 65, Lovington 36. Andrew Maxwell scored 15 points to lead the host Knights. Tyler Schuring and Caleb Schrock each scored 12 for Arthur.
Just four players scored for Lovington, which trailed 34-10 at halftime.
St. Thomas More 56, Clifton Central 39. Jaycee Hillsman scored 20 points to lead the host Sabers. Travis Whitley added 10 points for St. Thomas More, which improved to 12-5.
Paris 69, Chrisman 55. Chris Hoult scored 24 points and Ty Bolen and Chase Anderson added 10 each for the host Cardinals.
Heritage 77, Atwood-Hammond 56. John Taylor scored 24 points and had 12 rebounds for the host Hawks. Brandon Richardson had 16 points and Chance Lemmon added 13 for Heritage.
Andy Webb had 24 points and Jordan Feagin scored 10 for the Rajahs.
Okaw Valley 61, Cerro Gordo 49. Tim Weaver scored 18 points and Austin Crist added 14 for the Broncos.
PBL 49, Iroquois West 34. Tanner Harris scored 16 points and Gauge Snider added 12 for the host Panthers.
Paxton-Buckley-Loda outscored Iroquois West 15-6 in the final quarter.
Keaton Zirkle led the Raiders with 15 points.
Shelbyville 51, Argenta-Oreana 43. Gregg Boomer had 12 points and Jesse Witts scored 10 for the host Bombers. Five players scored eight or more points for Shelbyville.
At McLean County tournament. Brock Heimer scored 12 points and Josh Weier added 10 for Ridgeview in a 55-36 loss to Fieldcrest at Bloomington.
In other action, Heyworth edged Blue Ridge 63-60, outscoring the Knights 21-12 in the final quarter. Zach Quinn led the Hornets with 15 points. Elijah Bobell and Spencer Marlett scored 12 points each. Travys Nichols had 24 points for Blue Ridge and Will Duggins added 17.
In girls' basketball
At McLean County tournament. Lexington outscored Blue Ridge 55-40. Melinda Wilson scored 12 points and Jacquelyn O'Neal added 10 for the Knights.
Buckley Christ Lutheran 46, Normal Calvary 40. Olivia Janssen scored 19 points and Andrea DeBella added 17 for the hosts. Janssen added 11 rebounds to help her team improve to 7-7.
At Bloomington. Centennial went 2-1, beating Washington 53-20 and Metamora 44-21. The Chargers lost to Bloomington 49-16.
Darren Wynn, wrestling at 126 and 132, went 3-0 for Centennial. So did Deonte Adams and Jay Romans.
Centennial improved to 19-2 in duals this season.
In swimming & diving
At Urbana. The Tigers won a meet against Charleston and Schlarman. Urbana finished with 139, followed by Charleston with 116 and Schlarman with 63.
Urbana was led by Erik Heine, who won the 500-yard freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. He also swam in the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relays. Corby Rossett was another double winner for Urbana, taking the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly. He also was a member of both winning relays.
John Seyler won the diving competition. Other Urbana wins included Austin Stephen in the 200 freestyle and brothers Zach and Jake Heinricher leading the 200 individual medley.
